Legacy RFCC Programs - Lil Legacy

Legacy Sports Camp is proud to partner with the River Forest Community Center (8200 Madison St. River Forest) to bring you quality youth programming including the Lil Legacy for kids age 3-6.

The first session of the program is starting September 10 and runs until October 22, 2018.      The 2nd session runs from Nov. 5 - Dec. 10, 2018. The fee is $90. click here to enroll.

Lil Legacy (ages 3.5-6)

Exciting and fun games that keeps the kids moving and introduces them to the world of sports! Students will learn and play in different games each week that will help improve their motor-skills, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and love of exercise.

Youth Flag Football

Ready for some exciting football action? Catch, throw, and run for the end zone with Legacy's Flag Football program! New teams will be drawn each week to play in a 5 on 5 scrimmage. Players will learn the fundamentals and perfect their skill ahead of the Winter Flag Football League beginning in January. Min 10/Max 18

4:00-5:00, Grades 2nd-4th
5:00-6:00, Grades 3rd-5th

Legacy Camp Staff Spotlight: Will Skalitzky

This Week we salute the one and only, Will Skalitzky. Will is unique at Legacy as he has been both a participant and staff member. Will is most well-known for his ingenious play calling on the flag football field as he has led several teams to glory.

Will also helps run summer camps at Ascension and St. Luke. This fall, Mr. Skalitzky will be taking his talents to Syracuse University.

Favorite Legacy Program: “Hands down favorite legacy program is Flag Football. Nothing like it. As a participant? I loved kickball at Ascension. Pure competition right there.”

Favorite Legacy Memory: “My favorite Legacy memory has to be winning my first flag football championship back in the Spring of 2016. No feeling like it. Raptors Forever.”

When I'm not at Legacy, I am most likely.. "Usually you can catch me playing lacrosse or hanging out with friends.”

This Week we salute Legacy staff member, Michael Swift. Mike has been with Legacy since the fall of 2017 and has been able to do it all. Mike has run birthday parties, after-school camps, basketball and baseball training camps, and is currently coaching in his first Legacy flag football season.

River Forest Youth Summer Sports Programs

Legacy Sports Camp was established in 2008 and is located in the Chicagoland suburb of Oak Park.   The youth sports camp has a variety of River Forest youth summer programs for basketball, flag football and coding & sports camps.

Legacy Sports also offers River Forest youth summer camps where the kids will engage in a variety of sports activities including Dodgeball, Soccer, Hand Hockey, Battleship, Capture the Flag and more.
