RFYBS/RF Athletic Endeavors LLC Facility Covid-19 Policy and Waiver of Liability

Facility Rules

The following rules will be enforced.  Violations will not be permitted.  Violations may result in a suspension of the group from using the facility. 

  1. Masks must be worn at all times – entering, leaving and inside the facility.

  2. Sharing of player equipment is prohibited.

  3. Using water fountain is prohibited.

  4. Only members of the group and their coaches or instructors may be in the facility during practices and lessons.   Parents may not attend practice and must drop off and pick up their children outside the facility unless it is a pitching clinic and they are participating as a catcher. 

    -As much as possible, teams/groups are encouraged to split into smaller groups for practices and indoor activities. 

    -Groups should NOT arrive more than 10 minutes before their scheduled facility time to allow for a smooth transition between groups.

  5. All people must use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving the facility.

  6. Coaches are required to conduct temperature checks prior to practice.

  7. Coaches are required to record attendance in the facility attendance binder.

Covid-19 Reporting and Quarantine Procedures

Infection Reporting Procedures

1.     Players

  • If a player tests positive for Covid-19, the parent must immediately report to the coach and an RFYBS/ RF Athletic Endeavors rep. The rep contacts the RFYBS board president.

  • If the player has been engaged in any team/group activity within the past two days prior to the positive test, then the whole team/group must quarantine for 14 days or return with a negative test that occurs at least five days after exposure. The player(s) must  report the results to the coach and the facility/board representative. The rep contacts the RFYBS board president with results.

2.     Coaches

  • If a coach tests positive for Covid-19, they must immediately report to the facility/board rep and RFYBS board president.

  • If the coach has been engaged in any team/group activity within the past two days prior to the positive test, then the whole team must quarantine for 14 days or return with a negative test that occurs at least five days after exposure. The coach and/or player(s) must report the results to the coach and the facility/board representative. The rep contacts the RFYBS board president with results.

3.     Parents and family members

  • If a parent or family member tests positive then they should notify the coach and facility/board rep immediately.  

  • The player from this family must quarantine for 14 days or return with a negative test that occurs at least five days after exposure.   The coach and/or player must report the results to the coach and the facility/board representative.   The board rep contacts the RFYBS board president with results.

  • If the parent or player has been engaged in any team/group activities in the previous two days, then the whole team must quarantine for 14 days or return with a negative test that occurs at least five days after exposure.   The player(s) must report the results to the coach and the facility/board representative.   The board rep contacts the RFYBS board president with results. must quarantine for 14 days, get tested, and report the results to the coach and the facility/board representative.  

Travel outside of Illinois

All players/families/coaches who have traveled outside of the state for more than 24 hours to a Covid hotspot (based on the Chicago travel ban list) or  lives with someone who has visited a Covid hot spot for more than 24 hours cannot return until quarantining for 14 days or showing proof of a negative Covid test.

 PLEASE NOTE:  RFYBS and RF Athletic Endeavors LLC is allowing you to use the indoor facility based on your agreement to comply with the policy above.  Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that the RFYBS/RF Athletic Endeavors Organization is allowing you to access and use the facility in exchange for your agreement that the Organization, its volunteers and representatives are not responsible or liable for any Covid-19 infections of players, coaches, family members or anyone entering the facility at your request, and you waive any claim therefrom.
